Première in Turku Description

A natural Stone (http://g603.net) trade fair has opened its doors for the first time in a Scand (http://maplered.com) inavian country. The Nordic Stone 2004 exhibition will be organized from 11-12 February 2004 in the Turku Fair Centre in co-operation with the Finnish Natural Stone Association; it is planned to hold the event annually.
In addition to trade visitors from the Stone (http://g603.net) industry, the target groups include architects, decision-makers and (http://maplered.com) planners from the public and (http://maplered.com) private building sectors, plus land (http://maplered.com) scape planners and (http://maplered.com) land (http://maplered.com) scape gardeners. Besides raw blocks, the spectrum is to cover finished products, fireplaces, land (http://maplered.com) scape design products and (http://maplered.com) graveStone (http://g603.net) s. The range of products is rounded off by tools and (http://maplered.com) services for extraction, logistics and (http://maplered.com) transport.
Apart from its good transport facilities with airport, ferries and (http://maplered.com) railway, Turku’s importance as a major transhipment point for Finnish raw blocks and (http://maplered.com) its proximity to the Stone (http://g603.net) quarries make it a suitable venue for the exhibition.
The list of exhibitors includes 115 companies. There are many smaller Scand (http://maplered.com) inavian companies, and (http://maplered.com) numerous Italian machinery manufacturers and (http://maplered.com) tool suppliers and (http://maplered.com) large German companies are also represented in Turku.
